2016 Nissan Murano Named Best Midsized SUV

Once again, Cars.com has very publicly announced their affinity for Nissan automobiles, naming the 2016 Nissan Murano as their “Best Midsize SUV of 2016” nine months after naming the 2016 Nissan TITAN XD their “Best Pickup Truck of 2016” and the 2016 Nissan Rogue as their “Family Car of the Year.” As your local Okotoks, AB Nissan dealership, we obviously love discovering that the vehicles we sell are winning awards, and the new Nissan Murano in particular is an SUV that absolutely is worth honoring.

“The Murano is the closest option to a luxury SUV in this group, with a level of cabin materials and styling flair that’s largely missing among the others,” said Cars.com Editor-in-Chief Patrick Olsen. “The vehicle’s high points extend beyond its quality interior. The SUV is packed with technology and family-friendly features, and thanks to its V-6 power, the Nissan Murano is a blast to drive.”

To come to these conclusions Cars.com, in conjunction with MotorWeek put several midsize SUVs through a ringer of tests and judged them accordingly. For example, the Nissan Murano was evaluated based on its performance on a set course, as well as its real-world fuel economy and general testing by an in-market family. This well-rounded approach gave judges the best sense of these vehicles as a whole, and we were quite pleased to see that 2016 Nissan Murano ended up on top when everything was all said and done.

If you’d like to take one of these vehicles for a test drive, simply pay us a visit here at Okotoks Nissan sometime soon and one of our sales professionals will be happy to get you behind the wheel. This award-winning SUV deserves your attention and consideration!
